I have a 1.2 cvt qashqai from 2016

My warranty ends in january 2019 and i’m doubting if i would take the extended warranty from Nissan

Anybody got experience with this extended warranty and is it worth it ?

I have the 1.2 xtronic and after the latest update my cvt drives good

But because i read so many horror story’s about the reliability of cvt, i wanna ask if anybody had problems with theirs and what the symptoms where

So i can keep an eye on mine and know when things are wrong

What i also noticed is that when the light is on

the entire "safety shield " stops working

Is this normal when the system fails, the computer shuts off the other options too ?

I live in belgium

It happends when i start the car, the light stays on until i restart the car

I read that you can buy extended warranty for the Nissan qashqai, this sounds interesting.

But do you think its worth the money ?

Its 600 euro here in belgium to extend the warranty to 150000 km.
