Welcome Effect

I've had my new QQ for a few days now. What does the 'Welcome Effect' setting do? I've not noticed a difference whether I turn it on or off. I've read the manual, but just can't spot the deifference.

Changes the colour of the revolving car on the led screen between the instrument dials.

Doesn't it do a sweep over of the dials as well?

[Body Colour]:
The colour of the vehicle that displays in the vehicle
information display when the ignition switch is
placed in the ON position can be changed.

Rather:

[Welcome Effect]:
You can choose whether or not to display the welcome
screen when the ignition switch is placed in
the ACC (where fitted) or ON position. You can
also choose the following items to define how the
welcome screen looks:
• [Dial and pointer]
• [Display effect]

Well, when I press the Unlock button on the key fob, a door opens and a plush red carpet rolls out towards my front door. Then the tailgate rises and Selena Gomez steps out, wearing a clingy black dress, carrying a chilled drink and with an assortment of snacks strategically placed in her cleavage. "Welcome," she smiles.

Unfortunately that's where I wake up.
