See that water leakage in Nissan J11:

Nissan says "it's normal" and does not want to fix that.

Very strange... have you experienced the same water leakage from wiper motor into engine compartment?

Cant say that's normal to me! It should drain away. maybe you have a blockage somewhere?

Blocked or disconncted drain tube or gully. Just checked mine (in the dark) and it drains somewhere in the region of the offside wheel arch.

Hi again. Could you please check this leakage once more with more intensive water?
It drains very well as you said (in the area of the wheel arch) in my car but only if the amount of water is not high. If water is a little more intensive (as shown on youtube) then it also goes into engine compartment. Also after washing I can feel water in the engine compartment, touching that place.

Bad news ...80% of almost 30 (23x 1.2 dig-T and 4x 2.0L) tried and show thst water leaks via inside engine bay. Only 3x 1.2L and 1x 2.0L does not leak but have water run out somehow via fender above wheels.

Anyone here checked and found the same and reported this to Nissan UK for a solution ??

About 50 Singapore owners checked and >80% reported same issue and seems that there is a horizontal rubber seal that has its centre portion somehow not properly fitted and affected car made after Sep 2015 till date. Those not affected are primarily before Sep 2015.

Cheers.
