2019 Rogue S With AWD Won't Stay In 4X4 Mode
This is about the first opportunity we've had to actually use the AWD function up here since the weather has been unusually mild and the roads are pretty clear. Today, I tried out the AWD function. I pressed the AWD lock switch, the indicator light comes on, and I back out of the garage. It stays in...

Re: Hatch Mounted Bike Rack
OK. I ordered and installed the Solo - WORKS GREAT! Worked just as it should. I put the top straps over the wing above the hatch and ensured the top feet were above the rear wiper. The bottom feet were mounted to the plate that holds the backup camera, plate lights, and hatch release. I mounted the ...

Hatch Mounted Bike Rack
Has anyone ever used one of these on their Qashqai? I have a 2019 Nissan Rogue Sport (same as the basic auto you folks drive) with the rear spoiler. I had an Allen Ultra-Compact bike rack for my Jeep Patriot which worked quite well but isn't really recommended for the Rogue Sport - that pesky spoile...

Re: Door sill scuff plates
I bought the rubber ones and they work great! They even have an outlined portion that matches the color of my car. They don't quite cover the bottom sill and I noticed a few fine scratches from the bottom of the door panel on the driver's side door. I felt under there and there's a sharp edge that m...

Re: Parts Diagram - Clip for parcel shelf cord.
I had the same problem and ordered the replacement. My SO thought I was nuts to spend that much on a fricken button! I want my car complete and that little square hole in the trim was driving me nuts. Plus the cord lying coiled on the shelf looked so sad. Now everything works as it should!

Re: GF-6 A Engine Oil
Thanks, Dave - it looks like I'll be sticking with the API SN+ 0W-20 until Nissan decides to approve this for the 2.0 L USA version of their engine. I still have 23 months + of the warranty to consider and using an unapproved oil will certainly be an excuse to give me the boot should I have a proble...

GF-6 A Engine Oil
Has anyone over here heard or read anything on this new standard for motor oil? There's lots of buzz over here in the Nissan forums concerning the replacement of the old API SN + type of synthetic oils in SAE 0W-20, SAE 5W-20, SAE 0W-30, SAE 5W-30, and SAE 10W-30. From what I've been able to read ab...

Re: Bonnet bra
Dan123 - Here's the original post: "We added this to my 2019 Rogue Sport S yesterday after work. It's the Aeroskin hood protector for the Nissan Rogue Sport and it looks GREAT! It went on like a dream (Rob really had no issues with it) but follow the directions for the surface prep since the so...

Re: Bonnet bra
Watch in time as it's used and you wash the car. Water runs down the bonnet between bonnet and bra and collects. It also moves against the paint and scratches it. The water will encourage rust. I understand the potential benefits of fitting a bra but not sure it is worth it.. my opinion only. WW - ...

Re: FIAMM Battery - Potentially on Death Bed
My understanding is your version can be made anywhere from the UK to Mexico or S. Korea. The US version comes only from Japan (at least that's what I heard and, in checking the VIN for mine, it's true). If I was misinformed, I apologize. The Duralast batteries are pure junk. Based on comments found ...
