Indeed, AFAIK it was not -yet- reported for any J12.
Unfortunately Nissan did not supply any information regarding which cars have the faulty thermostat housing in place and did no recall.
I have the J12 and I truly am more than a bit worried some of those might have this faulty part inside as well !

I think that maybe an extended warranty could help, but because this housing is a plastic part ... ??? As others here have claimed to have done already ... get rid of the car ... in time ! I am going to demand some assurance on paper that when if I pay for an extended warranty it would also fully co...

I agree, but the only way to avoid the sensor overload is to buy a cheap Dacia or similar. Personally I love a lot of gizmos, but that means getting rid of that kind of car every 5 or so years at the latest. Sensors most likely will mean trouble, sooner or later, no doubt. @trout. That does not seem to be the exact same problem as with the 2017-2021 Qashqai at all !
AFAIK it does not mention blowing up a Mercedes A class engine like the Nissan issue.
I don't think that thermostate housing is similar (?)

External : minor changes ... it seems
Internal - infotainment system ... icons/ dial colors have changed !?
I do hope that is not all there is to this !?

I still have no further information on the new j12b, only that I will be notified by the dealership as soon as they have this piece of information. I migh be looking to upgrade to the J12b e-power version if Google Automotive is being used (like Renault is doing with their latest SUV offerings). Fin...
