Qashqai 2014 onwards Hatchbag
If you haven't encountered the name, take a look at www.hatchbag.co.uk This is a black vinyl protector for the car's boot and was bought to dog-proof it. It's held in place by Velcro tabs that are sticky on one side. The "sticky" doesn't cause any damage to the vehicle and removes cleanly....

FAQ: Folding Wing Mirrors
I am interested in the Acesdvd's wing mirror mods for the new model QQ and visited their site some time ago, without problems being reported by my antivitus. Now the weather is improving, I'm thinking seriously of adding their mod to my QQ, but on visiting their site, www.acesdvdsdco.uk my McAfee an...

Window on back of Tekna rear view mirror
Gymdaddy's description was correct. When the forward looking (through the front windscreen) sensor is covered when it's daylight, then the mirror dims.I was so ticked off with Nissan Customer Service's fob-off suggestion to phone round dealerships and ask, that I did just that and none were interest...

Window on back of Tekna rear view mirror
I would have thought that any sensor that detects light from the rear of the car would be located on the FRONT of the rear view mirror - i.e. the side with the glass. The square white plastic "window" I'm on about is on the rear of the rearview mirror, that is, on the side that has no glass...

Window on back of Tekna rear view mirror
Great, thanks for the reply, gvmdaddy.Where it looks through the windscreen is the ideal spot to fit a dashcam and I've been concerned about what I might be blocking. A little darkening of the mirror will be OK, though.I asked Nissan about it and the first line people didn't know, and suggested I ph...

Window on back of Tekna rear view mirror
Hi Guys.I have a new QQ Tekna and so far, it's brilliant! I love to go out in it just to enjoy driving it. On the back of the rear view mirror on the passenger side, there's a small square white plastic window (RHD version, UK).Does anyone know what this window is for? I've tried covering it both da...

Satnav V Tomtom
Hmm. Thanks for your comment, Kentishman. I'll phone the dealership next week and ask why the address line is greyed out. They won't know, of course, and will suggest contacting Nissan customer service. The phone will have an eternal queue and the email will go unanswered, so if anyone on here knows...

Dash Camera Fitted
Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 [1"]]Hopefully, this will raise a smile: Due to disability, I needed a grab handle above the driver's seat in my new Tekna CVT, so when the car went in for its £140 handle installation, I asked the dealer's chief mechanic, who was doing the...

Satnav V Tomtom
I've been driving my QQ Tekna CVT for just over a month and today I had cause to use the Satnav.First off, it told me the location I sought was not accessible by car. Then it dumped me in the town square, telling me I had reached my destination. It took a bit of finding and a near 300m walk from whe...
