Re: She's Arrived....and now chromed!!

Thought I'd update this thread because I've now part-exchanged the QQ for something different... a BMW ActiveHybrid 3 M Sport! The main reasons for changing: - I wanted an automatic. I live in SE London and changing gear all the time got tiresome in traffic - I don't like Diesel engines and what the...

Re: Phone holder

I have been using one of these for the last 18 months: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00BFWQQEG?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage The suction cup is super sticky/tacky and it has never fallen off the windscreen. In fact, it's quite a battle to detach it after use! It gri...

Re: Cleaning the Windscreen / Replacing Wiper Blades

I replaced the crap OEM ones with a pair of these: http://www.wiperblades.co.uk/nissan-qashqai-years-2013-to-2016/wbtr-26-retrofit-aero-and-wbtr-17-retrofit-aero-twin-pack-wiper-blades/ £11.92 inc VAT for the pair and so far they seem to be doing well... Better than the OEM ones have ever done (but ...

Bi-LED Headlamps - How Good Do You Find Yours?

I love my LEDs on my Tekna. I have had xenons on a number of previous cars and these are as good if not better. 10/10 from me

She's Arrived....and now chromed!!

I just ripped them off from the outside. It did break a couple of retaining tabs in each mirror cover, but i thought that the chrome ones would stay in place. If i did need to put the originals back, I could always glue them. IIRC the actual Nissan instructions you get wit the chrome covers tell you...

My experience with them was entirely positive and I would believe that the dealer is messing them around. Although they are a small outifit, they seemed to me to be 100% legitimate and won't be deliberately trying to mess you around. You could always show up at their offices to discuss your problems...

Would you buy again

I am loving mine so far, no major problems to report. However, I'm unlikely to buy the same car again because I like to change around - like rm0rgan! It will be interesting to see how I get on with the dealer (first interaction was OK) and whether any problems develop that need attention from them u...

Servicing plans from Dealer

Thanks for all the replies so far, there are some very interesting opinions here. I don't really know the dealer at all (never used them before the recall work) so I think buiy 3 services upfront would be a bit of a gamble. I'll just pay for services when I need them. Because I bought the car from a...

Servicing plans from Dealer

Hi all - I bought my car from an Internet broker hence couldn't buy a servicing plan when I bought the car. I went into the dealer yesterday (Ancaster in Penge, South East London) and they offered me a service plan. Regular servicing costs are £159 for minor service and £259 for major. These costs e...
