Re: wind sound when accelerating. 1.2 Dig-T
Hi. I don't think this is a fault. Mine does similar and I understand it's something that the turbo does when you accelerate and then come off the gas. I'll leave into the tech experts to fully explain, but I think it's nothing to worry about.

Hello
Hello and welcome. Seeing your 65 plate reminds me that mine is a year old now. That and the fact it's going in for service next week. Must say that it has been an enjoyable 12 months. No problems to report with the car at all.

Whistle sound from vent when releasing gas pedal
Mine does exactly the same. Just assumed it was the turbo doing whatever tubos do. I have noticed it more when releasing pedal from hard acceleration. From a more gentle acceleration it isn't noticeable.Jhare2015-08-28 16:01:17

I know that the DVLA database isn't very accurate either. A few years ago they had such a backlog of registrations to input that they got in temporary workers who were on piece work and they banged in the info as quickly as possible with some errors. I had to have a Toyota that I bought new correcte...

Steering Wheel
I would guess that the tracking (alignment of the wheels) has been knocked out of line. Hopefully nothing damaged down there, but needs checking out sooner rather than later. Steering and brakes are rather important I always think. If it makes you feel any better we have more than our fair share of ...

Luggage Packing Safety Problems
A very good point and one I can speak with from personal experience. Having been involved in a a high speed collision a few years ago I can thoroughly recommend the fitting of a good quality "dog guard". We had one fitted and none of the luggage in the back of the Ford Focus came forwards ...

Cannot Pair bluetooth to NISSAN CONNECT
I wonder if the Nissan Connect software needs an update? There are some instructions on here explaining how to check your version. This is the link http://www.qashqaiownersclub.co.uk/forum/faq-nissan-connect-hidden-menu_topic2103.html As far as I am aware though, it is only Nissan dealers that can d...

You could check that your Note 4 is running the most recent operating software. I have known updating that can make mobiles connect that would not before.

Scratched alloys while cleaning
I was having some paint scratches repaired on my wife's car a few days ago (some kind soul thought it would look better with a key scratch along the wing). The paint man was having a look at the QQ. He explained to me how the wheels are finished. They are painted all black and then the diamond milli...
