I had no idea that had suicide doors! Whats odd is the lack of B pillar - means you forget your seatbelt is attached to it so end up strapped in when someone opens the door to get in!
The dip is apparently to let kids see out more easily instead of being stuck in a cave...my grand kids love it!

So, what do I think of the BMW i3 ReX
Hi folks - after selling my beloved QQ last year, for the past 8 months I have been driving around in an i3 ReX and having covered 13,500 miles I thought some of you would be interested in how it's been... It was always going to be difficult to change my QQ as in so many ways it ticked all the boxes...

Re: Electric car drivers suffering "Charge Rage"
Really enjoyed test driving the leaf last year. Would have gone for it but I was vetoed by the rest of the family. They suffered from - "range anxiety" - "charge rage" - "engine silence phobia" and "refuelling boredom". I didn't stand a chance. you missed &qu...

Re: Electric car drivers suffering "Charge Rage"
The article is interesting but not fully correct. Ecotricity now charge and if you've a slow-charging car and it's a range extender it's potentially cheaper to use petrol! Not far wrong...Ecotricity now charge £6 for a 30 min rapid charge session, however for most rapid charge enabled cars that can...

Re: Loose driver's seat
I had the seat base replaced under warranty when I had mine...it used to creak more than rock which drove me mad!
It never made a noise after being replaced and all was well

Re: Bi-LED Headlamps - How Good Do You Find Yours?
and the Auto matic dipping has never failed me :) ;) Mine doesn't like lorries....and they don't like me! If you are driving at night and there is a central reservation, I find sometimes the sensor cannot see the headlights of a lorry (obscured by the barrier) - the headlights carry on at full beam...

Re: 18,500 miles and counting...NOW UPDATED 45,000 miles
So, here we are, the end of my time with the QQ and what a great time we have had over the past 45,000 miles in a little over 28 months... I generally change my cars every two years and this time was planning on doing a full 3, however, needs must and a new chapter is my car ownership is about to be...
