My Qashqai hasn't suffered from this failure but having read so many stories about this part on here and other forums / Facebook, + Nissans shocking attitude of denying anything is wrong with this part, i have decided to part company with mine and get rid before any failure, my first and last Nissan...

I have this whining as well thought it sounded like a bearing in the gearbox, doesn't happen till warmed up but can hear it intermittently when foot on throttle or lifted, having read this thread not sure about what it is anymore?

Just scanned the image and it gave me the number 110607087R, this is different to Pandjh image above.

Tried to get a pic of the offending housing on my Qashqai to try and see if I have the latest or old version on my Feb 2023 model, I think the picture is of the correct part, if so and going by picture of the latest housing it looks like I have the old one, can anybody confirm my thoughts TIA...
