Re: J11 Condensor Replacement

I replaced mine last weekend on my 2014 j11 1.5dCi. It took 13 minutes to remove it from the vehicle, total 30 minutes to have it all back together. No need to remove bumper, just remove the plastic trim above it, unbolt the 2 connection pipes and lift it out. There at Least 2 good videos on YouTube...

Re: 2016 model - keep or upgrade?

If you've fixed the common issues already....air-con condenser failing, parking brake module going awol, and exhaust pressure sensor metal breather pipe blockage etc, and any other common issues, then i'd say keep yours as you can bet the next QQ will likely suffer these faults. Prices for cars are ...

Re: AC problems

Condenser is a very common failure on QQ's, mines currently awaiting a new aftermarket condenser to be fitted. Look for damp patches on the front of it, or a puddle of liquid at the bottom(mines pooled on the nearside underneath the condenser) and look at the undertray, if you have wet marks sweepin...

Re: Parking sensors

My 2014 QQ suffers this too, it takes a day for them to behave normally again, rear ones are fine, it's always the front. Common issue i'm afraid.

Re: How to disable the Keyless entry J11

Its in the 'settings' of the on board computer, it's called I-key, just untick the box next to it and then your car wont be susceptible to the keyless entry theft scam.

Re: Oldest J11s that are Euro 6 compliant?

Minimum emission standards Petrol: Euro 4 (NOx) Diesel: Euro 6 (NOx and PM) The ULEZ is enforced based on the declared emissions of the vehicle rather than the age. However: Petrol cars that meet the ULEZ standards are generally those first registered with the DVLA after 2005, although cars that mee...

Re: J11 dash cam for Nissan q best

I've used my Nextbase 422GW at the front and Nextbase 112 at the rear for a year and they've both been faultless, the rear is very cheap one and works flawlessly, the front 422GW with a Samsung Evo Plus 256GB micro SD SDXC a2 V30 card(£16 on amazon) has also worked perfectly. Forget buying the super...

Re: 1.5 dci fuel range

I've owned my 2014 1.5dCi Qashqai for 18 months, i've logged over 10,000 miles on Fuelly dot com, i drive for mpg, my real world mpg(not the dash readout) over the 10k miles is average 48.8mpg, best was 70.5mpg.
Stay below 65mph on motorway you;ll get a real world 60+mpg.

Re: Qashqai J11 K9K manual gearbox oil change interval

I changed mine on my 2014 Qashqai 1.5DCi at 96k miles and it made a noticeable difference to the smoothness of gear changes. It's very easy to do, the refil plug is a big white plastic butterfly screw on the upper left end of the gearbox, if you look in the front left wheel arch you'll see it. Lean ...

Re: Handbrake issue? Orange ! light and flashing P light.

I’d like to answer a question that I’ve seen asked in multiple forums about replacing the faulty Parking Brake Control Module with a secondhand unit. I can confirm that if you replace it with a secondhand unit with a matching part number it will work without any need for ‘coding’. It’s already coded...
