Reason for selling my J11 Qashqai
Under "Sale and Wanted" subtopic I sell my bonnet strut kit and Dave kindly asked for a reason selling it. My QQ had several issues: gearbox (got replaced), front parking sensors (not replaced, even though I claimed many times ), wind noise and airbox rattle. I lived with it and got used t...

Re: Qashqai J11 bonnet strut kit
That's correct, Dave!
It is "Group Buy" item. It is functioning very well, but new owner did not need it, but got some discount from the car price, so I decided to remove it and now maybe someone else needs it.
Due to the relatively heavy weight of the bonnet, it is good addition.

Re: J11 & Cold Weather Problems.
Today, when I cleaned the car, I noticed this unstable rev case too. The first time. And exactly as wiseguy and jet explained.

Re: J11 & Cold Weather Problems.
In Estonia, we have also extremly low temperatures and my QQ fuel economy is also extreme - last tank 8,7 l/100 km. But starting the car is OK, even with -27C it started very well (without any preheating) and revs were stable. Maybe if you use preheater, car thinks it is warm and does not use glow p...

Re: Chassis Control system fault
Got the same fault in the morning, outside temp -27C. Will see if it remains when I go home.
Next week will visit dealer beacuse of drive shaft seal and engine oil leak. They will investigate this fault also.

Re: Door handle removal
Thanks, Dave!
I appreciate your help. I managed to remove door handle and used pressurized air to remove some water and wd40 to grease moving parts.
Tomorrow will see, if that helps.
Here, in Estonia, we have -10 today and intense snow, but next week we will have -25 or so.

Door handle removal
Hi, Hope someone can help, how to remove rear door handle (outside). Outside temp is quite low (around -20C) and now driver side rear door will not close. I suspect that some ice may be somwhere near door handle. If I park in warm garage, then after some time, I can close the door. So maybe ice melt...
