You will see the steering column linkage and also where the actual column going through the floor. I spray...

Steering wheel -> creaking sound

Might be okay but probably best to go to your local specialist auto parts store rather than a chain. They will know what you are talking about. There are a few brands out therre, including TF2.

Steering wheel -> creaking sound

On closer inspection, the noise did come from the linkage close to the floor, so the noise/vibration must have travelled up the steering column. I put some teflon based oil, as duncho mentioned above, and the noise has gone away, at least for now.

Steering wheel -> creaking sound

ESP, Traction Control ABS Lights

Well. One week on, the intelligent key issue has been resolved. However, the ABS light issue keeps coming back, but only when it is below 3 or 4 degrees. I have read in another forum that this may be due to some reprgramming that needs to be done.

ESP, Traction Control ABS Lights

The QQ is in an independent garage since Nissan could not see it until mid Jan. They are saying that the codes reported indicate a faulty switch connected to the brake pedal. This kind of makes sense since the system is not receiving information that the brakes have been applied. The fact that the f...
