I do find that if you concentrate on the lines it certainly takes it worse. Im my case I wear reading glasses and find it is much worse if I forget to take them off and try and look out of the windscreen, the magnification is outstanding :)))) Honestly though, I have noticed a change since my 2015 Q...

Many Thanks all, it turns out the fee reduces the excess, however when pushed you don't have to pay it. It means I'm liable for the full excess which is fine as I have my own annual policy that covers hired/loan car excess up to £6000.

Looking at the old cars this part was fitted. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/223570656238. The new unit doesn't have any on the holes like before. Im thinking its been scrapped in the newer models.

Its a real shame Nissan have dropped this feature. Rear camera is a problem now as its always dirty or wet.

The Uk site for Nissan website advertises this feature, Intelligent Rear View Mirror* - note the asterix - but what is it in the UK, as my Tekna certainly dent have this feature?

So the rear camera for your around view monitor has a little washer jet on it that sprays washing fluid onto the camera to clean it theres also a little air compressor behind the bumper offside rear and that compressed air gets blown onto the camera also.
