FAQ: Guide for Subwoofer in QQ2014

[quote="RDowson"] Just pulled off the plastic panel to get access to the 12v supply in the centre console. Mine has a black wire and a blue wire. Is the black wire negative and blue positive? I can't check with a voltmeter as I'm just going to use cable lock connectors to splice in rather ...

Speaker Wires

Hi, I'm currently connecting a sub into the car. I'm tapping into the rear speaker wires. I know it's red and white for the left speaker and grey and green(ish) on the right. Does anyone know which is positive and negative for each side? I'm connecting with splicers so I can't just cut the cable and...

FAQ: Guide for Subwoofer in QQ2014

Just pulled off the plastic panel to get access to the 12v supply in the centre console.

Mine has a black wire and a blue wire.

Is the black wire negative and blue positive?

I can't check with a voltmeter as I'm just going to use cable lock connectors to splice in rather than cut the cable.

FAQ: Guide for Subwoofer in QQ2014

Does anyone know which speaker wires are positive and which ones are the negative? Also, are they on each side? So right speaker cables under the right door sill and left under the left door sill? Am I right in saying the 12v positive and negative are the same colour cable? Guessing I'd need a voltm...

FAQ: Guide for Subwoofer in QQ2014

So is there a solution to the always live 12v supply in the centre console?

Where can I connect the remote turn-on lead for the sub?

Still no AAC Music Support?

[quote="SplanK"] I have never looked at it, but chances are AAC requires some sort of licence to be purchased by the owner, or the developer of a product to use it. AAC, unlike MP3 and other format are a closed format and controlled by Apple. I think Nissan were hoping that most owners wou...

I did ask them to not wash the car and only do what has to be done for the PDI so maybe that's why they were left on.
