Re: Break in

Nissan just called, basically they don't care. It's nothing to do with them and they can't/won't do anything about it. They have no solution or interest in finding out how someone can gain access to the car so easily.

What a joke

Re: Break in

There's a local Facebook group, seems to be happening all the time. Police are more interested in sitting on their arse, drinking coffee and eating donuts than finding criminals. Assume now that the car is being targeted as they know how to easily get in. Frankly shocked how little Nissan are bother...

Re: Break in

Unbelievable, same thing happened again today. This time on the way to airport with parents-in-law. Stopped for an hour, middle of the day, nice open, well populated carpark. Came back and door lock handle hanging off again, nothing visibly taken so assumed wind had caught it from previous attempt. ...

Re: Break in

Nothing like that would stop them shoving a wire down behind the lock (or whatever they did) though Update on this: There is no update, I am STILL waiting for them to call me back  Social media provoked zero response too What with the never ending issues I've had since new, this will surely be...

Re: Break in

I've let my local dealer know, they're normally useless but worth a shot in case they've heard of it - If I get nowhere I'll be on to Nissan directly It reminds me of my VW days in Golfs & Sciroccos where it was dead easy to break in with a properly placed screwdriver. The sale of armour plates ...

Break in

Twice now! Each time there is some tiny damage around the lock so they're using something to prise off the cover where the key goes (this time that cover was on the floor) and then somehow gaining entry into the car. This time (Friday night) they took everything from inside the boot which was a bag ...

Re: Bike racks

I don't have (and don't want!) a towbar so no good to me. Also don't want to put them on the roof as it's way too much hassle for a 10min drive to where we'd use them, that's why I'm interested to know if the Saris worked.
