Re: 1.2 DIG-T - Oil loss
I've been driving around 2000 miles after the engine software update. First 1500 miles, mostly city driving, 98 octane, 1 dl of oil used. This was very good news. The next 500 miles I drove mostly highway, 95 octane. And guess what - now around 6 dl of oil used. To me it seems that highway driving a...

Re: 1.2 DIG-T - Oil loss
Hi there, I'm pleased to hear that your oil consumption has decreased. Since you had the download done, have you noticed any change to the performance of the car or fuel consumption or any other changes? Yep, hopefully this will solve the more minor consumption issues. What it comes to performance,...

Re: 1.2 DIG-T - Oil loss
I've had the ECU update for my 1.2dig-t to change some engine parameters that should reduce the oil consumption. The results are promising so far - 600 miles and only < 1dl used. In comparison I had around 4dl per 600 miles before the update.

Re: 1.2 DIG-T - Oil loss
After the second service oil consumption for my QQ 1.2/DIG-t was monitored. It came out that engine was using 1 litre of oil per 2200 miles. Local dealer reported this to Nissan, and I got reply that they won't do anything here as it is below the reference limit stated in manual. I'm extremely pisse...

1.2 DIG-T - Oil loss
After the first service oil consumption is now around 2.5 liters per 11000 miles. 1.2DIG-T / 2014. 2nd service coming up soon, should I complain about this even if its in the range of normal oil consumption and no visible leaks are found?

[quote="duncho"][quote="ivelina"]Skeema, completely agree that it is a cold-related problem. When the weather turned colder yesterday, the squeak came back on! Good idea about the video too, I will try to record it squeaking next time before I take it to the dealer! I have receiv...

Draining battery
Battery was measured today at local dealer and it was reported to be faulty. I'm pretty dissapointed, because the car is only 1 year old.

I checked the battery and it was Fiamm. Ive also had stop/start error a few times, but always dissappeared after stopped the car and restarted. The stop/start itself has worked very poorly - only max 5-10 seconds, when it rarely activates.
