Re: Key fob battery
I do think that the forum notification defaults should be on for any topics that you post in though. Or at least a tick box to subscribe when posting (default=on)

People don't notice us...
They never see. ..
Or they might just have notifications turned off.

Re: Key fob battery
Also If you can, check the battery with a multimeter, it should read over 3V (my new Maxell CR2032 read 3.3v) and the old Panasonic that I took out was 2.9V.
Worked like a charm and at a distance with the new battery.

Re: Nissan Speed Camera Alert database
Yes, but the problem with using their POI's on the Connect 2nd Gen are duplicate warnings, as you cant remove or disable the built in Navteq ones
Otherwise I would use the pkgps ones as they are much better your right.

Re: USB socket
I'll also add that using the USB socket can cause a media device error on some phones if your using a standard usb cable (my S6 had this problem), if this happens then use a USB power only cable, they can be had cheaply from the usual sources. On the plus side droids don't stop streaming through BT ...

Re: Nissan Connect Speed Camera Warnings
The connect system is very limited compared to even basic £50 satnavs when it comes to to customisation, map updates, route planning and general touch screen functions. the fact its a resistive touch screen also doesn't help (these must be more expensive to manufacture these days. You can add custom...

Re: Connect firmware updates
Just because its new doesn't mean you have the latest firmware, I had no end of DAB and other issues with Connect (crashing etc) with mine from new until I got the latest FW installed by my Nissan dealer, since then its been working well and switching between DAB/FM automatically when I loose DAB, w...
