Philrum. What model QQ have you? I was told that the 1.5 diesel has more covering underneath than the 1.6 diesel. I don't know about the petrol models.
Is the corrosion at the rear of the sub or all over?

Thank you for that Acenta I learned from your info.
I've had a two year old 1.6dci for 6 months, I haven't noticed any of your three tell tales but have travelled a lot of short distance runs with the odd 60 mile jaunt without ( touch wood) any probs.

Every October I give mine a quick squirt of Wax Oil. Never have I been bothered with rust on the underside of my cars. It takes about 10 minutes + a couple for cleaning the small lance.

You guys seem to be on the ball here with your knowledge of oil specs. All I can add is the "C4" spec is for synthetic low ash oil. This is used in Diesel engines with. DPF eg 1.6 dci (9RM I think)

How many miles has the car done ? I reckon it needs 3/5k before engine is producing full performance.

My 1.6 dci is terrific. I changed from a 2.0 diesel & don't notice any difference.

I chipped the edge of the drivers door this week in my garage. Was sick, however, I touched it up with Nissan paint & Ive got to look hard to see it now.

A pal of mine has a Gun Metal Juke with purple flashes (mirrors, around spots etc) came from factory like that.
