Re: Car dealer disabled my dashcam during service

If you don't trust them to treat your car with courtesy then why are you taking it there? As is said above, camera surveillance by a customer is not really appropriate IMO. I wouldn't want it in my line of work so I wouldn't impose it upon others. You never hear of dash cam evidence being used to p...

Re: !!!!! Nissan servicing costs rocketing !!!!!

Perhaps service costs have increased because Nissans are more reliable now and dealers are getting less work through warranty claims...?

I'll get my coat...

Re: Evans Halshaw

the manager flatly refused to take my money or even come out of his office to talk to me, I think I'll take my £17000 elsewhere. Are you sure it's really your money? We are heading for another financial crash, and this time it is due to the unsustainability of the car leasing market. Manufacturers ...

Re: Start Stop System

Did they tell you that you weren't driving it enough (without any consideration of how it is driven)...? I'm surprised they didn't cotton onto that and tell you your brakes were rusty and needed changing. Saying it shouldn't happen on a three year old car is one thing, but it shouldn't have happened...

Re: Electric cars/ batteries

Lithium batteries are finding a second life as power walls in domestic or commercial applications, so it's not like they even need to be recycled....which is easy enough to do. As for car performance, one of our cars needs endless stick-stirring and about a weeks notice if you want to go faster. The...

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/money/cars/article-4943684/The-10-fastest-depreciating-new-cars-revealed.html Apart from the fact that the Daily Mail couldn't lie straight in bed anyway, the top two are electric and the new price quoted is before the £5k government grant. And certainly in the case of th...

Re: New Nissan Leaf

The range is a bit disappointing when compared to the Renault Zoe ZE40, unfortunately it is still the main selling point when most drivers would find 100 miles to be adequate. And what the hell has happened to the steering wheel? More buttons than a gaming controller, at a time when cars are suppose...

Re: Rear brake discs after 25k 22 months

Hi, Just had my second service at 25k and two years since registration and Nissan advised both rear discs need replacing and pads. Can understand pads but would have thought discs would have lasted longer. If one of the discs is worn is it normal practice to replace both ? They have advised £269 to...
