Re: Nissanconnect App stopping - April 2020

Does this mean the send to car functionality will cease to work? If so its a shame because its really good.

Re: Complaining to Nissan about dealer - any experience?

I know you say its not an option but I'd say you really need a second opinion from another dealer. It sounds like you've given your dealer every opportunity to address your faults and they haven't. But, they don't appear to have walked away so that suggests to me that they are willing but useless. N...

Re: driver awareness course dilemma

So a dilemma now, do I pay £110 course fee + £80 petrol + day off work + probably have to pay for a night in a hotel, just to keep my license clean, or take it on the chin and pay £100 fine and get the 3pts. You wont have to stay overnight if you put your foot down on the journey there and back. Ha...

Re: Battery start/stop draining flat etc Watchdog !!!

I'd just like to record on this thread that I've had a Fiam battery fail on me this weekend. The car is at the dealers now being sorted. I have a J11B, it's nine months old and has done 5500 miles. Previously I had a J11 with a Fiam battery too - that failed also and was replaced under Warranty. Ove...

Re: Engine rattle after service

Back in the day I took my wifes Ford Ka into the dealer to complain about an engine rattle. After test driving the car with the mechanic and him lifting the bonnet to have a look, it turned out the bonnet pole was not properly clicked into it's plastic clip and was vibrating against the body. Seems ...

Re: Qashqai smart key problem.

My first qq used to flash up an error message if I was riding the clutch very slightly. Cant remember what it said but the message wasnt at all related to the clutch pedal but it was the pedal that definitely triggered the message.

Re: security for smart key

A house just around the corner from me had their Ford Kuga nicked off the drive in the night.

Police advised it will have been one of these keyless entry jobs.

I've bought a pouch - £10 from Halfords. Its rather small so I've wrapped the spare key in kitchen foil which also does the job.

Re: Long beep on locking 2018

sounds like the beep the car makes when u select to disable the internal ultrasonic sensors for the alarm - like you would do if your leaving a dog in the car. You have to do this every time you stop the car That was my thought - sensors set to turn off by default. Backwards step this new functiona...

Re: Air sound on light acceleration

I've owned a 2014 1.2 and now have a 2018 1.2. It's noticeable that the new car makes much more of a whooping noise than the earlier car so it seems the noises can vary. The new car is a brand new though with no miles on the clock (the last one had 12k miles when I got it) - don't know if that's a f...

Re: First time poster, air con outside of warranty

The least they could do imo for fitting their cars with parts that are not fit for purpose.

Really feel for honest punters who have to pay a fortune through no fault of their own.
