I pursued the Nissan CS option but they weren't going to admit liability or assist with the repair. They just stated it was out of warranty and my mileage was high.
Scrapping is the option I chose.
I'm still miffed that a car that's always been serviced by Nissan has failed.

So what would you do if you were in my position? Would you try and source a replacement engine or just scrap the car given the mileage? Most recent pricing I've received for a reconditioned unit is £1695 fitted.

Thanks to this forum I used the Nexen N Fera SU1 on my Tekna last tyre change for the two rears. They've been fantastic with no noticeable difference to the Continentals. They're also available via ATS for £101.15 fully fitted.

Hi there. I had this issue with my old iPhone 4S with the old connector. My assumption in the end was it was the interface slot itself that was the source of the issue as changing the cable made no difference and the connector in the phone is bound to wear after time. My lad's newer iPhone 5S worked...
