Thanks gymdaddy. The only other thing is I was told that batteries should be charged in a well ventilated area. I'm a born worrier!!

I don't do a lot of miles in my J11 so am planning to keep the battery topped up by using a smart charger (CTEK XS3600) This charger is designed to be left operating for long periods during which time the bonnet will be open. I do a very low mileage in the winter so need to keep the battery topped up. I have a CTEK XS-3600 smart charger to do the job. However I am concerned that leaving the bonnet open whilst charging would cause the open bonnet sensor to trip the alarm. Does anyone have any experience of this? Comments ...

I have a 2015 Tekna Xtronic and am very happy with it's performance. No problems, good MPG, and smooth ride. Recommended!!

Solid brake pedal when attempting to start.

When I went to start the car this morning the usual PRESS BRAKE PEDAL message appeared. However when I tried to press the brake pedal it was solid. Pressing the start button turned the warning lights etc. on. I then got out of the car locked it, waited a few seconds before unlocking it and this time...

My 1.2 QQ is one year old next month and there has been no discernible loss of oil. I mention this as potential owners need to be aware that some of us do not have this problem.

I ordered a Tekna 1.2 Xtronic in Gunmetal with 17in wheels on the 17th June and took delivery on the 9th of July. Very happy with the car - so far.
