Re: Nissan connect rebooting and music cutting out when playing via Bluetooth
Quick update Had my software updated by Bristol Street in Chesterfield this week. They were most helpful - and no discussion of charges. When I mentioned I hoped this would fix the issue, I was told “almost certainly”. She went on to say the issue started to appear in 2019. Not just in Qashqais and ...

Re: Nissan connect rebooting and music cutting out when playing via Bluetooth
Yeah, my dealer also wanted to start with diagnostics, but when I mentioned that a Nissan has SPECIFICALLY said I was to decline diagnostics things seemed to go a lot smoother. But we’ll see

Re: Nissan connect rebooting and music cutting out when playing via Bluetooth
Sent a note regarding this to Nissan UK this morning, and already had a response In part it reads We recommend that you contact your local Nissan dealership to book the vehicle in for a free software update, the details of which the dealership should have under a technical bulletin called - TB EL 19...

Re: Leaving the Qashqai Parked for 3 Weeks
I've started using "Meet and Greet" style parking
Last time I had a battery go flat (in my OLD Qashqai), they jump started it so it was fine when I picked it up

Re: Up Hill Assistant/Coupling/Electonic Handbrake
Yes, this explanation seems to be most probable, i.e. that I have not learnt how to use the electronic handbrake yet. But I have never used manual hand brake when heading off up the hill. I have the 1.6L Qashqai and it surprises me sometimes how much I need to press the accelerator (throttle) to ov...

Re: First time taking my new QQ Tekna on a long drive!
When we bought our QQ, the sales guy did mention that the cruise control AND the speed limiter ONLY control the accelerator - the brakes are ALWAYS the drivers responsibility So we were warned But looking back, the cruise control on our old Primera (the version with the radar to maintain distance fr...

Re: Boot release button
Thanks for your reply, that definitely doesn't sound like mine. I have to hold the button and lift or otherwise it will only partially release and I won't be able to lift it. I didn't think of the weather as having any baring but it's something I'll bear in mind. I had a "button challenged&quo...

1.6 dig-T Tekna gunmetal
Well, that about describes me :) Switched from an 08 Tekna a few months ago and wondered how I'd cope "moving down" from a 2 litre Did resist the 1.2 dig-T - I just thought that was too much - especially living in the wonderfully hilly Peak District One question for you all though Good as ...
