Re: Self-activation of rear AVM camera lens washer
Today believe it or not I finally discovered and proved to myself that my 2018 J11B Tekna does not have the famous self cleaning rear view camera system. I was told on this forum that it definitely had it. I took all tailgate trim off to fix my alarm rubber button connector that had come loose and h...

Re: Intelligent around view monitor.
Hello.
Mine does it every now and then in rainy conditions.
Seems to stop eventually.
Doesn't last long. Could not be bothered chasing it up under warranty at dealers.
I just got used to it I guess...

Re: TPS Wheel Sensors ??
When Costco changed my wheels front to back cause its their policy when buying 2
The Tpms were reading front to back.
Had to go back for them to plug in their gadget to re assign them to correct position.
Now reading fine.

Re: Long beep after locking car
Hello.
I had similar thing going on my J11B a few years ago.
Turns out it was the bonnet contact switch that needed fiddling with left and right a couple of mm.
After that adjustment all good.
Hope this helps.

Re: Rusty bracket in engine bay.
Hello. I had exactly the same rust on the same bracket. Only 3 yr old car. Seen it before in other similar age QQs. Was bugging me so I treated it with Rust Remedy and spray painted it gloss black. Looks much better than before. It definitely wasn't struck by anything. It must have to do with the pa...

Re: Driver door catching
Hello. I recently had the same issue on drivers door which got worse over time. The door would bang on to the pillar catcher and crawl over it and rise up a few mm. When opening the door the opposite would happen and door would drop a few mm. Could not be bothered with useless dealer mechanics and a...

Re: Self-activation of rear AVM camera lens washer
Thanks DaveBerlin. Good long read. I guess I'll have to hang myself out of the rear of the car somehow while wife drives it and see if it works. Read that it only works with car at certain speed. Anyone know any stunt men I can hire for the task? It's just crazy that the manual doesn't mention anyth...

Thanks for your reply.
Where in the manual book does it give details of this function?
I looked and couldn't find any mention of it.
Am I just blind???
Won't be the first time...
