Hi, I'm having a problem with my heater blower and need to replace the heater blower resistor, can you tell me exactly where it is located and what you did (did you take any pictures?) and did you disconnect your battery before replacing the resistor?
Many thanks
Regards
Dave

Re: AC Problem
KeithH Here's the total inconsistencies with Nissan CS, I contacted them directly following the main agent diagnosing my condenser failure, the case manager assigned to my complant did not acknowledge this as being a recognised issue and at no stage did he state that there was any contingency fund s...

Re: AC Problem
Daewar, if you're considering keeping the Qashqai for longer I would definately consider an extended warranty. Since mine expired (31/12/2017) my FIAMM battery failed (stop/start error) Nissan CS, true to form, dismissed replacement FOC as it was outside the warranty period (by a mere 2 weeks!!!), f...

Re: AC Problem
It appears that my faith in Nissan CS doing the right thing was sadly misplaced. Following a protracted series of conversations with my Case Manager , to paraphrase him, failure of condensers is not unique to Nissan and after all what should I expect from a car that is over 3 years old (3yrs 8 month...

Re: Smart Key Problems
Ive had the same symptoms as described, it was caused by the battery in the key fob needing replacing.
Its a simple process, there's a video on YouTube
all thats needed is a flathead screwdriver and a new CR2032 Battery

Re: Battery problems
Dave was this a FIAMM battery? There is known manufacturing defect for these batteries fitted to early J11 qashqais. If you do a search on this forum theres plenty of posts regarding this. Mine was replaced a few weeks a go by my local main agent, car was just out if warranty but managed to get it r...

Re: Wont Start + Rac + New Battery
Decided to get the diagnostic done at Nissan Wirral for peace of mind as sods law would certainly apply during this current cold spell. Anyway apparently the diagnostic indicated the battery was holding a good charge and they had to reset a fault related to something to do with excessive use of the ...

Re: Wont Start + Rac + New Battery
Further to my earier post, Just started car up and the stop start system failure warning has disappeared? Now wondering if the car just needed a good run as it had been stationery for a while, however this isn't the first time the stop start failure has displayed. It's going to cost me about £70 for...
