Re: Diesel DPF Issues

Hi, Your dealer is just looking to make some additional cash, all they are going to do is add a cleaner/additive to the fuel. It's not necessary, your car, for the most part, will be cleaning itself. Hello, my car is due for its 4th year service & has close to 65K kms. The dealer in his quote h...

Re: Diesel DPF Issues

Hello,

my car is due for its 4th year service & has close to 65K kms. The dealer in his quote has mentioned DPF cleaning. Not very expensive. But wanted to check is this recommended as the regen is automatic?

Thanks.

Re: Very slow boot opening

ThreeSixty, as I have mentioned before our Struts were replaced and are OK in the normal weather but now @ -6*C they are again much slower. I get in the habit of just standing back and raising the Hatch by hand. There are most likely some more powerful Struts around but wether they have the same di...

Re: Very slow boot opening

Have had this for sometime now. I have been denied a warranty claim despite having extended warranty for 4 years. Now Nissan has agreed to meet 60% of the cost as goodwill. The total is an eye watering 400 euros. Should I go in for this? . Can this get progressively worse? Like failing to open or cl...

Re: ALI EXPRESS BEWARE

Was looking to buy the sport pedals for my LHD model. Unfortunately GlynHopkins only has RHD version. But are the pedal shapes actually different? The one in the above pic looks exactly like my pedals  Any idea, if the fitting invoves any drilling or its just a cover over the pedal? :?: The ru...

Re: Continental Tyres

2 of the original Conti s had to replaced as the outermost tread had almost completly vanished due to poor alignment. Replaced them with Bridgestone Turanza T005 and got the alignment done. So far, feel a much quiter and confident drive. Am on 18" wheels & the originals had done only 35,000...

Re: Nissan Connect LCN1 (J10) and LCN2 (J11) LATEST Map Europe

Got the V3 version from Black_Rojer sometime back in May. Did a trip through South Switzerland & Italy recently and was pleasantly surprised that the nav took me through the latest roads that were recently opened only a few months back. In fact in one instance, the road had been blocked to do so...

Re: mats velor or rubber

I have the original Nissan rubber mats. In my opinion, you are better off with cheaper after market ones. I am on my third set of mats as on driver's side, it disintegrates as I press the clutch. The 3rd set is also torn & Nissan have refused warranty apparently its too many claims on the same o...
