Sat nav and 'revving' noise issues...?!

Hiya So I purchased my brand new 1.2 auto Qashqai in March. Overall I love it but there are a couple of issues. I'm organising for the car to go in and get sorted out but I would like to be as informed as possible so they don't fob me off. First issue is my sat nav. It works pretty well but on every...

Re: Cannot set satnav when moving?!

Thought I had replied to this sorry. I have emailed the dealership. I had no idea about that secret menu...will talk to my partner as he is slightly more clues up about these things.

Cannot set satnav when moving?!

So overall we have been fairly happy with our sat nav. The only issue is, if I'm driving along and my partner sets the sat nav up, it cannot pin point where we are accurately and so although it gives us directions they are totally wrong. If we set it up before we start moving its totally fine. Does ...

Re: Cleaning the panoramic roof and the wheels

I have autoglym life shine on the car and the water does bead nicely. Do you still suggest I use rain ex every few months? I've got autoglym fast glass so was going to use that each time I wash it.

Do you think autoglym tar remover would get the wheel grease off, or would clay work better?

Re: Cleaning the panoramic roof and the wheels

Thank you for reassuring me that I haven't scratched them, I do hope you're right! Will autoglym custom wheel cleaner be strong enough to get the grease off (if I put a bit more effort in) or should I get something stronger? I work in a school....why didn't I think of a little step?! What a good ide...

Cleaning the panoramic roof and the wheels

So today, just a week after getting my 16 plate ink blue Tekna, I thought it was looking a little dusty so gave it a clean. Firstly I got to work on the wheels. I used this brush; http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/wheels-and-tyres/ez-detail-brush-mini/prod_581.html after lots of research as I didn't wan...

Re: First time taking my new QQ Tekna on a long drive!

Hi Dave. Pressing button 2, or any buttons at all, doesn't bring the car back to the desired speed. We tried the speed limiter like Beardyman and that doesn't work downhill either. It's incredibly dangerous. I think my sales guy is just going to say 'well it says in the manual not to use it when it'...

First time taking my new QQ Tekna on a long drive!

So today I took my brand new QQ on a trip to Gloucestershire (about 2 hours each way). I have to say overall I am very impressed, auto high beam was a particular highlight! We tried out as much as we could, and just have noticed the following slightly ‘negative’ things; - Cruise control - overall it...

Re: Discount on GAP Insurance

Just wanted to say. I just got 5 years vehicle replacement with £22,500 of cover for £276 from ALA. They price matched GapInsurance123 and gave me an extra bit off. Really impressed with their customer service, they explained everything really well and were able to answer all my questions really cle...

Re: It's hear

Yes it's the slightly older one. Dave has commented on my post in 'introductions' which explains it a bit more. It's annoying but I just don't think they are being put in new cars yet!
