Re: News Article on Buying 2nd hand QQ J11 a

That doesn't surprise me. Wessex didn't charge standard Nissan servicing charges either! One of the many reasons for selling my car. Checking there website the words Intelligent Choice don't seem to appear. They say: " To be certified as Approved Used, all vehicles must pass our strict pre-sale chec...

Re: News Article on Buying 2nd hand QQ J11 a

Wessex are completely closed down at present but their website is actually reporting differently: MINIMUM 24 MONTH WARRANTY Every Wessex used car comes with either the balance of manufacturers warranty or a Wessex Standard warranty for 24 months . You can also opt to extend to longer warranty long [...

Re: News Article on Buying 2nd hand QQ J11 a

Very fair article except when I got to:

"If you buy a Qashqai from Nissan’s approved used car scheme, you’ll get an industry-standard year’s warranty and two years’ free servicing thrown in."

News to me - I'll have to go and check that out - not that I'm looking at present...

Re: FaceLift Steering Wheel

Before doing this modification has anyone checked with their insurers are to whether it's permissible under their insurance? If it is, are there conditions attached - such as getting a qualified person to certify the installation is acceptable? And is there a premium increase? Just wondering - would...

Well it will need coding too - so ring round a few of the key specialists and see what they quote.

Re: Swapping out the interior

More problematic would be the seat adjustment since the Tekna I had had electric adjustment for the driver's seat - obviously you'd need to couple that up since you wouldn't be able to adjust it manually. You can see the switches here: https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/fo4AAOSwegRecLXt/s-l1600.jpg EDIT...

Re: Swapping out the interior

Welcome to this forum. I'm responding on the assumption that you're looking at installing a salvaged interior complete. The answer to your question is "possibly" - I don't recall anyone swapping seats previously even though it's a logical thing to do. It happened a lot more on the Fabia forum. To be...

Re: Newron Motors (E-Bike)

DaveBerlin - may I point out that you said "I did not mention only 60Kms" but you did!

"... a machine capable of accelerating up to 110 km / h and enjoying a range of about 60 km. "

Looks like it might be time for me to self-isolate from this forum.

Goodbye!

Re: Newron Motors (E-Bike)

Sorry - hadn't bothered clicking on the links after reading "... a machine capable of accelerating up to 110 km / h and enjoying a range of about 60 km. "

Even having done so it's tricky finding the technical specification - eventually found it at https://www.newronmotors.com/tech.html

Re: Newron Motors (E-Bike)

Sorry but a 60km range is a joke. I'm looking at a Damon Hypersport - assuming the hype is true. https://mcn-images.bauersecure.com/PageFiles/679811/822x548/Damon-Hypersport-Pro-03.jpg The Canadian-grown Damon Hypersport is seeing a lot of the number 200. The Hypersport gets a power rating of 200 hp...
