Re: Clock time varies
An update: the car was taken back to the dealer, who updated various system (as well as giving the car a thorough clean), and the time has remained correct for a week now so I’m hopeful the issue is resolved.

Re: Clock time varies
This afternoon I set the clock to total manual, no auto-setting on location, no auto-setting based on a single location, I set the time manually, then around twenty minutes later the time was 45 minutes fast?!? Another oddity is that if I set a SatNav destination, the ETA doesn’t match with either t...

Re: Clock time varies
Thanks for the video, but as you suspected the newer Multimedia system is subtlety different. Even with the clock set to non-auto, and manually set to London, the time is still fluctuating wildly on both the navi screen and the instrument display. Perhaps a dealer visit would be the best option, but...

Clock time varies
My clock has been all over the place recently, many hours fast, almost right, and many hours slow along with everything in between. East time I start the car the time offset is different. I’ve checked the settings and for some reason the auto time zone was set to Eniwetok, Kwajalein. I’ve manually s...

Re: Installing A Dashcam
To gain access to the strap, pull away the rubber door seal (it slides over the welded seam on the door frame) from the point where the A Pillar trim meets the headlining down for around 18" down, no need to completely remove it, just expose the edge of the A Pillar trim. Next, with your finger...

Re: Installing A Dashcam
Ben, thanks for your input on this, I've just unclipped the A Pillar trim and have found the airbag strap you mention. I'd assumed that the curtain bags inflated downwards and away from the B Pillar (which is marked as having a SRS system inside) but hadn't factored in the A Pillar strap, this just ...

Re: Installing A Dashcam
Thanks for the warning Ben, I was aware of the curtain airbags but after consulting the manual I came to the conclusion that they ran along the roofline and not down the A Pillar so I thought I was safe with my cable routing. I'll take a look behind the A Pillar and confirm/deny their placement.

Re: Electronic Parking Brake & Hill Start Assist probelms
To clarify a couple of points, when EHS activates it'll hold the car for up to 2 seconds, if you move off sooner EHS will automatically disengage so you don't have to wait for it to time out and "eventually move on" I'm pretty sure EHS will not engage from the EPB auto-disengaging as EHS w...

Re: 2015 Tekna 19" alloy wheels
Have you considered just increasing the profile size of the tyres to gain comfort? The circumference of the type will slightly increase with the added fact that your speedo will have increased accuracy as most speedo's over read by 3 - 4 mph. I went from 205/40 17 on the mini cooper s to 205/45 17 ...

Re: Has anyone had luck in getting Brake Discs under warrant
I have to say that 20k is atrocious for needing new discs, in fact unless you're on the brakes continuously 20k's low for pads. If I were you I'd find out how worn the pads are, if they're still reasonable then that should show that you've not been overly zealous with the brakes which should indicat...
