Re: New here and need help please

Hi, I have never tried this, but may be worth a shot. You won't be pulling much voltage/amps with this idea. How about you get a battery charger and connect it to the positive & negative during the battery swap. Keep the car ignition off etc. That would be enough to keep power onto the car 12v syste...

Re: Extended warranty

I would imagine your still have consumer rights on your side, so the repair should be fit for purpose etc. Making a claim would be more troublesome though. I would like to think there would be a separate warranty for the new Engine, or any other part that is replaced. I asked about that with the dea...

Re: ABS light and traction light

I would suggest you pause the video at the point where it shows the pipe where it joins to the exhaust manifold. Take a screen grab or just keep the paused video on an I-pad / android pad & take it to a Nissan garage and ask for the pipe, just like the guy did in the video. It looks like there may b...

Re: Low level buzz/ringing from around battery area when hood open

My Mini Coupe used to make a buzzing noise when I popped open the bonnet. Was reasonably loud and I always thought it was something to do with the alarm system. Everything was working perfect with the car apart from the battery that was on its way out and caused the Start stop system not work. The o...

Re: Reliability

Hi My QQ is about 2 1/2 years old and I have had a few warranty issues. The main stopper was with the FIAAM battery that has now been replaced, the car would not start out of the blue, no warnings prior to the fault. Its well documented and should not return. I've had a squeaking driver seat that wa...

Re: 1.5 dci engine (and dealer) problems after software update

Does anyone know what this update is for and what age of cars are involved? I've just had a recall letter for a software update for my new Qashqai Tekna. After the service I had they couldn't update the software because of computer issues at the garage. Is this recall a matter of life or death or ca...

Re: J11b Headlight replacement (Adaptive Lighting System)

See if any scrap yards have any? Hello all, Recently I bought a Nissan Qashqai J11b (2018 model). The model that I bought is the N-Connecta. What I'm looking for, is if it possible to replace the headlights with the ones of Tekna model (Signature LED Headlights with Adaptive Front Lighting System an...

Re: Low level buzz/ringing from around battery area when hood open

Could be the air intake join near the battery vibrating. just grab it hard and see if it stops. If it does get a big tie wrap around the join, that's what I did for the vibration I was getting.

Re: Reliability

I don't think there is any problem with either of these engines. Apparently the 1.5 is a little more refined and economical with a belt driven valve system. The 1.6 has more power and torque, a bit more vibration and a chain driven valve system.. I have the 1.6 and its perfectly fine. Hi guys im loo...
