Re: 1.6 dig-t 160 clutch judder

It's not uncommon to have clutch issues with a newish car... I had a Honda CRV from new quite some time ago and the clutch was slipping after about 14k miles. Honda replaced the clutch at no cost to myself as it was warped, but there was always the worry that Honda would blame me for using the clutc...

Re: service levels

My thoughts exactly, that's why I did not take up Nissan's offer. Slight change on tone on this topic. I have just taken delivery of my new QQ and was interested in a possible service plan. So I rang my local Nissan dealer, which isn't where I got the car from, and they gave me a quote for a 3 year ...

Re: Qashqai J11b N-Connecta with Glass Rooftop

Hi and welcome.

Just the thought of driving around without a roof in Finland sends shivers down my back ;)

Re: New Nissan connect

The Connect apps are useless, but the rest of the head unit is fine that I have found. Depending on your phone etc, you can use "OK google" for most stuff. Sant nav is as good as any in car units I have ever used. 5000 euro is just insane. Maybe search the forum to look at what other people have don...

Re: Over the Air map updates

This is only for UK cars as far as I know. My import QQ that never left the UK is excluded from the offer (paperwork export only). NISSAN MAPCARE™ PROGRAM UPDATED MAPS ONCE A YEAR, FREE* FOR THREE YEARS. If you own a Nissan with NissanConnect*, you qualify for our Nissan MapCare™ program with a free...

Re: farty noise on accelerating

I could be wrong, but that sounds like the fuel injectors. You need to give the engine a few revs to see if the sound changes. With a badly worn timing chain the sound is like a diesel engine. I have the same issue with the 1.2 petrol 2017. You described the noise perfectly! I'm wondering if it's ju...

Re: Mixing tyre brand/type

I think there are 2 thoughts with putting 2 tyres on a car, on the same axel, my 2 pennies worth. I'm mostly thinking bad weather, SNOW, ICE, RAIN and lots of it. New on front, old on rear. Pro. Very good traction and braking frontally, good traction, can pull the car straight if rear looses some gr...
