Re: Car Not Starting Properly

I'm unsure, although there is usually someone who has had this experiance and will reply sooner than later. Personally I would phone Nissan customer support and ask them.

Re: Car Not Starting Properly

Hi fordy, Its a pity you have not been reading the numerous threads about faulty FIAMM batteries, you would have saved yourself £200. Nissan are replacing old batteries FOC, even if they are older than 3 years. Lots of things can affect the starting from a faulty MAF sensor if you have the 1.6dci to...

David, I did not realise the American cops had anything to do with a recent mass shooting at a school? I think your mixing up a sick juvenile with the police? Is you argument so poor you need to involve another country's failure to keep children safe in this debate? With what's just come out of. USA...

Re: The car's electronics 'freezes'

It could still be the battery or the earth. I think there is a post about a loose / corroded earth under the battery that's worth looking at. Probably wont take to long to look at. Hello, I recently have the following issue with my QQ J11 1.2 petrol Xtronic- any suggestions or help is more than welc...

Re: About to order a new 1.2 DiG-T Tekna Xtronic

Get the 1.6 petrol engine if petrol is your thing. Get a warranty that is longer than 3 years for the gearbox if you intend to keep it a long time. I have the pano roof and hardly ever open it, but I think this option will be subjective and really down to the individual. Hello guys, planning to orde...

Re: Condensation Problem 64 Plate Nissan Qashqai 1.5dci

If the car windows are misty before you get in, then it sounds like you have a water leak or the water drain for the aircon cooler maxtrix is blocked. If it only mists as you breath, then its normal for cold / wet days. turning on the aircon is a good idea.

Re: Oil in intercooler pipes

The engine breather system historically blows gasses / oil mist out that are directed into the intake system just prior to the turbo intake. So all this muck goes through the intercooler & pipework before its burnt. Its normal and nothing to worry about as others have said.

You need the ECU scanned to find if you have any fault codes. You can do it yourself with a obd2 bluetooth adaptor & and android app called Torque.
