On the Tekna they managed to make the panoramic roof optional without changing the name! :) I think when mine was bought new it was still standard, but optional by the time I bought it eight months later. That'd be an interesting option for the dealer to remove from a used vehicle if you didn't cou...

Re: Speedlock « issue » ?
On my J11 I have an aftermarket module that makes sure all the windows roll up on locking, the trigger is a lock command, I know because I wired it myself

Re: Speedlock « issue » ?
Dohhh............
It did get me thinking though, because unless the designer of the window closer has thought things through properly, then locking the doors would indeed cause the windows to roll up!

Re: Speedlock « issue » ?
I have the speedlock and window closing modules and I can confirm that the lock command doesn't affect the window closer when driving off. Do the windows close if you manually activate the door locks with the engine running?

Re: keyless entry and start not working on one key despite changing battery
Hmm, mine started playing up again a day or so ago, and I found that a sharp knock restored functionality, so at best it looks like it could be a faulty solder joint or at worst a faulty component. I'll have to get the big magnifying glass out now

Re: Exhaust fumes coming into interior
If I were you I'd ask the dealer to give you written confirmation that the car is safe for you to occupy and that the fumes aren't hazardous to health. That may well focus their minds in terms off liability. Like you I'd be very sceptical that any software mod could overcome what sounds like an exha...
