2015 , 1.2 tekna+ I think , been in 8 days for new engine suspension bushings , dealer never contact me yet I rang them , seemed confused , have Juke 1.5 out on loan , would be happy too hold onto it lol

I took my 1.2 dig-t quasqai into local dealer this morning , going back in o.n 20th February for new engine and complete suspension bushings overhaul , not sure what model I have lol could be ntec plus perhaps

The whistling is the turbo spooling up , when you let throttle of you also hear the whoosh of dump valve/waste gate , nothing to worry about unlike the rattling engines and high oil consumption

I have the same car , I can't understand why they are so heavy on petrol , my rev counter does the same , my engine is rattling again and uses lots of oil , it now sounds like a Renault 9 glt , 27 mpg or less in town and a maximum of 37 on long journeys , it has no torgue too move of and is hopeless...

I would suggest that the mpg issue is more likely related to your wifes driving style, either heavy footed or tootling along in totally the wrong gear, which can be easy to do as the motor is so quiet. Apparently it is a remap issue , I've had mine done stopped rattling from engine , but loads of rattles from rest of car
