Daewar, sorry for the delay in acknowledging your response. Please, what is the door card and how do I take it off?
(Incidentally, I have asked my local garage about this fault and they say the only solution is to replace the entire door handle - probably a couple of hundred quid!! )

Re: Driver's door button does not work
Thanks for the replies. The key fob does have a new battery. Pressing its buttons operates all the doors satisfactorily. Using my spare fob makes no difference to the problem I am experiencing. I am assuming, therefore, that the answer does not lie with the key fob. I'd like to avoid a diagnostic sc...

Driver's door button does not work
My Qashqai is 2015. A fault has suddenly developed with the locking button on the driver's door. Pressing the button on the exterior handle to lock or unlock the car no longer works. It's absolutely dead, I have to use my key fob. The other two buttons (passenger door and boot) work OK, it's just th...

Re: Sat nav not accurate
No, it's when I enter the house number. Doesn't happen always but annoying when it does.

Re: Sat Nav
I too had the problem of low volume on SatNav. As I couldn't figure out how to improve it, I looked in the manual. Sure enough, in Troubleshooting, it said 'Voice Notification Too Soft or Too Loud'. The solution they give? 'Increase or decrease the volume' - without telling you how to do it! Who pay...

Re: Sat nav not accurate
Further to my last post, when I took the car in for its first service and reported these navigation faults, it came back saying they could find nothing wrong with it. Now there's a surprise!

Many thanks for the replies. Greatly appreciated. I think I will try to get the SD card replaced under warranty.

Re: Sat nav not accurate
Thanks for all the replies, I am much obliged to everyone. To deal with specific enquiries: To '298' - I live in Southampton. To 'Samovar' - it works OK with routes I know, takes me there OK. But it has twice taken me way off course to new postcode locations, delivering me to entirely the wrong addr...

New car check-up?
I bought a new Qashqai last September.
I am pretty sure that someone commented on here that their dealer had their car in after a few months for a sort of 'settling in' check-up. If so, is this part of Nissan warranty, please? I haven't been notified.
