Re: Weak Metal used in Bodywork!
I remember this Public Announcement and thought it would be nice if we had access to this material in Europe, but I don't think it got used here.
I can't be 100% sure but I suspect the impact for European cars is minimal.

Re: Weak Metal used in Bodywork!
Not a lot of Kobe steel in the british built cars, like Qashqai. I expect none. Imported cars may have quite a bit. I think you are safe in a Qashqai.

Re: Front Bumper Removal J11
These instructions assume some knowledge. 3 fillet moulding is the one around the front wheel arch. There is a screw underneath at the front. Then push at the clipping point from inside. If you can squeeze the clips together it will be easier. Harness clips are a real nightmare to release. Need a sc...

There are differences between Qashqai and Qashqai +2 doors. Otherwise the metalwork is the same.

Re: Wind whistle
Have you checked the seals and gaps of door. If there are any into wind steps then that would create noise. Perhaps check the passenger side to see any differences. If the seals are not working then the noise would penetrate. Again any difference from passenger side may identify a problem. Anything ...

Re: Cable hanging down under car!
Looks like O2 sensor. I would recommend a tie wrap to the fuel lines or you could pierce a hole in the heat shield, and fix to that with some fine wire. Tie wrap will melt. There should be a fixing clip but perhaps it has fallen out. I guess garage could do if you are under warranty. Anyway don't wa...

Re: Front wheel arch trim replacement?
The wheelarch outer trim is mainly clipped in. From memory there is a single screw fix at one end. I believe you need a torx T20 screwdriver. You should be able to see it. If you don't have a torx head screwdriver you might be able to release with a flathead screwdriver. I recommend trying now. Best...

Re: Bike racks
HI Dave, We tested at Millbrook with 2 x 25Kg just this week. The TUV approval is a must in Germany as you say, and we have followed their guidelies regarding testing, although we haven't paid them to approve, as we are not marketing their yet. We do not offer installation at the moment, but there i...
