Space saver for sale

Continental Tyres 145/90 R16 on a balanced wheel, for sale. Very good condition. I have had it on two cars, originally a J10 and for the last 3 years on a J11. It's been used once on each car, for a total of about 35 miles, hence its very good condition. It's got me out of big trouble twice, with a ...

Re: Windscreen and ADAS sensor re-calibration

Thanks for the reply, I felt sure insurance companies would have some get-out clause!

Hopefully my company will be the same.

Windscreen and ADAS sensor re-calibration

I've got a cracked windscreen on my 2016 Tekna, and it appears that the ADAS windscreen sensors will require re-calibration after the new screen is fitted. I've not had a quote yet, but there are some horror stories on the net as to how much this could cost. I am waiting for my insurance company to ...

Re: Stop/Start System - Override module

As I said, Do NOT disconnect the bonned switch!!!!! The switch under the bonnet which allows the mechanic to disable the Stop\Start system so he can work on the engine makes sense!!!!!!! Surely the mechanic would press the dashboard Stop/Start switch when he turns the ignition on and starts the eng...

Re: Stop/Start System - Override module

I tried that last month and kept getting an alarm to say a door was open. On another thread, "Highland" has just posted the following:- Hi I also don't like the stop/start on my new 2016 Nissan. Have disconnected the bonnet sensor and repositioned it. The problem is the door not closed ala...

Re: Bi-LED Headlamps - How Good Do You Find Yours?

I had a 2012 QQ with upgraded Xenon headlight bulbs, for 4 years, and I found these very good.

Now I have a 2016 QQ with LED's and personally I find them even better. Very happy with them.

Re: Stop/Start System - Override module

Thats correct Benchmark, the dashboard switch turns on the Stop/Start for the one journey. Next time you turn the ignition on and start, the Stop/Start is "on" again.

Duncho's module overrides that. See details in the thread "Project: Reversing / Disabling Stop/Start feature"
