Re: Warning light

Mine does the same thing, Harry/ Buffy, it just starts flashing as a regular occurrence, but only after I’ve done a few miles, e.g. 10-15 miles driving. It normally only lasts for a minute or two, then everything is back to normal. The Owners Manual tells you about it, when the AEB kicks in, etc, bu...

Re: RAC Breakdown with Service

I rang my garage on Monday to try and book a service. They were unsure what was happening and would call me back when they knew anything. I'm still waiting for the call back, but do appreciate they must have far more urgent things to deal with in this present climate. So I ping'd an e-mail off to Ni...

Re: FIRMWARE VERSION

Well done, Pandjh. Mine struggled to connect when I first got the car, nearly a year ago, but was sorted out when I changed the USB lead.

If anyone's having on-going, intermittent problems connecting I'd advise getting a good quality, (short as possible) USB lead.

Re: FIRMWARE VERSION

No, Android Auto seems to be working fine on mine Pandjh.

The only thing I've seen that's changed is it always opens on Maps, and I haven't found out a way to change that yet.

It would also explain why my data usage has risen a fair bit over the past week or so.

Re: FIRMWARE VERSION

Hi all, My QQ offered me a software update today from 0818 to 0821. Again not sure what the differences are but it took around 5-10 mins only via WiFi. Little confusing at the end when it says “software update complete, turn the vehicle off and on again to confirm” did this several times and versio...

Re: 2019 Qashqai: software issues to be aware of

There's a new update out there for Android Auto, which has a new interface and a 'dark mode' which should be easier on the eyes when driving at night. I've only just downloaded it onto my phone, so haven't had a chance to try it yet, but it sounds like they're addressing the main issues people are h...

Re: How long will I have to wait?

No problem, Dave, sorry if I came over a bit brusque, I was having a particularly trying afternoon attempting to multi task.

Re: How long will I have to wait?

Yes thank you, Dave I can actually read so there’s no need to teach me how to suck eggs. It doesn’t matter when you buy a car, there will always be a newer one coming along in the next few months/year be it a “Sport” or a new version in 2020. If you are always so vain to want the newest bells and wh...

Re: How long will I have to wait?

I sometimes think the dealers make things up, to suite their own agenda. If there was a shortage of stock from last November, it never affected me.

As I’ve said before, mine only took 5 weeks from ordering to delivery in March.
