Re: ...I've finally had enough!
Oh dear, reading these forums one can form the impression that the Qashqai is a real dog of a car. So I am 3 months in to my ownership of my new car And about 1100 miles. Not a single problem, no squeaks rattles or obvious problems. So thumbs up to Nissan. The car is obviously built to a price as ot...

Re: Buy Spare wheel or stick with repair kit
Indeed. But I was not aware that I wouldn't be able to lower the boot panels into their lowest position. Nissan don't seem to make that clear. Mine is a Nissan fitted space saving wheel.

Re: Buy Spare wheel or stick with repair kit
I bought a spare wheel but one disadvantage is that you cannot lower the boot floor

Re: Fuel consumption 1.6T Acenta?
So in the return journey from Gatwick 18 or so days later I was tired and jetlagged(yes I know I shouldn't have been driving and won't do it again) I drove between 50 and 60 mph and averaged 48 mpg over 140 miles. With the cruise control set at 50 the computer was recording high 50s mpg. Not so bad?...

Re: Qashqai reliability
Two months in with mine, 500 miles and no issues. Negotiate hard and with a face lift on the horizon I reckon you can get a very good deal.

Re: Fuel consumption 1.6T Acenta?
With my month old 1.2tekna the first dealer tank of petrol gave me an average of 32mpg, mostly short 5-10 trips. On a 140 mile fast trip on the motorway, 70-80mph with revs between 2.5-3K I got 38mpg. Looking at the trip computer it would have been better at a constant 70mph and a lot better at 50 o...

Re: Nissan Qashqai Facelift
On the subject of discounts, I found the dealer rather inflexible, 5% off list was best I could get from them. I walked away, emailed them a few days later with a broker quote and eventually agreed a discount from list of greater than 20% with the dealer. That was back in January,. Took delivery in M...

Re: Sat Nav - Speed Camera Alert
My Tom Tom satnav beeps and flashes when I exceed the speed limit, annoying but useful. It is now redundant because of the qashqai satnav. But the qashqai satnav doesn't have this feature in the UK. Or am I wrong?

New 1.2dig xtronik tekna
I'm collecting my new 17 plate tekna on Wednesday, first of the 17 plates. Been driving a Toyota avensis for the past 12 years, rock solid and have passed it onto my daughter. There seems to be a disconnect between the professional reviews for the quashqai, excellent and the owner reviews- very mixe...
