Re: Are Qashqais really this unreliable??

After I bought my Qashqai I found this site and was quite worried. Now on my second Qashqai and never even had a misfire or problem. I sold a solid German car to buy it and do not miss it. Equipment and comfort are excellent. The worst car I have ever owned was a 6 week old Mercedes. It shut down th...

Re: 1.3 petrol automatic

I am getting similar to MikeGC although not as high as 61. Think 52 is my best on a long run but local journeys knock it down. I have found similar that if you stick at 65 the consumption is much better than at 70.
The 160 is very lively and can scrub the tyres a bit on a fast getaway. Excellent car

Re: ProPILOT cruise control issues

Just wondered if anyone knows whether when the intelligent cruise slows the car down does it show the brake lights or would the brake lights come on only if it was a sharp reduction in speed?

Re: New ProPILOT Assist

I have a 2019 Tekna with pro pilot which is an excellent addition to make driving a bit more relaxed. My wife is not a fan of the steer assist part as she says as a passenger the car wanders a lot between the road markings giving an uncomfortable sensation. She’s not confident that it hasn’t switche...

Re: Radar deactivated

I had this prob on previous model. The dealer found some masking tape on the sensor which I assume was from the factory. He wondered if that had become loose and was flapping intermittently in front of the sensor when it happened in the dry. After removal it then only happened in heavy rain. Dealer ...

Re: Radar deactivated

I have experienced this in heavy rain and the handbook does warn that it might happen in heavy rain, snow and fog. A dealer told me this week that he thinks there will be a recall on some models for this radar issue. The sensor is behind the Nissan badge in the front grille. If you open the bonnet a...
