Re: Intelligent Emergency Braking

I’ve got a J11a & I get the same warning every time I’m out, sometimes it stay deactivated the whole journey & others it’s on/off as it feels like it.

This happens in all weather conditions.

Re: Mpg. Diesel.

1.5d manual getting around 52mpg over a normal week, on a steady motorway run I can get it up to 58-62.
Although this isn’t too bad it’s actually less than my last Qashqai got & that was a 1.6d auto.

Emergency braking system fault

I’ve been getting the unavailable warning popping up repeatedly over the last 2-3months, when I mentioned it to the dealer the response was “next time it comes on bring the car in” this would be great if it didn’t randomly go off & come back on when it feels like it [emoji23]

Dog guard fitting

Hi everyone I’ve just picked up a genuine dog guard for my 2017 tekna for a very reasonable price but it’s only come with 4 thumb screws.
Has anyone ever bought a fixing kit from Nissan or even know what I need to I can try & sorce the nuts etc from elsewhere.

Thanks
Rob

Re: New Car Day!

As far as I have been able to find out, the Eco feature is only on Automatics. I had a 1.6dci auto a couple of years ago which had the auto button. I had a Renault Kadjar 1.5dci manual in February this year basically a qashqai (so they say) this too had the eco button so I was surprised when this 1...

Re: Nissan Qashqai Facelift

Hoping to get the new QQ later on this year but I'm not sure that I want to go with the Pro Pilot, as it looks as if there will be quite a premium to pay (and not sure that I'd feel completely safe on the motorway) I want an automatic and don't need a diesel, so unfortunately that narrows it down t...

Re: Cyclists "Dooring"

When you fold in the mirrors this leaves you blind to cyclists or cars coming from behind. The auto door locker which I got from China and fits into the OBD socket flashes the indicator lights when opening a door giving some warning to anyone approaching from behind. I am not sure how effective thi...

Re: Audio System USB Memory Stick

I've used a USB in the past with no issues, folders for each artist & then folder for each album.
I now use my iPhone 7+ connected with USB with no issues what so ever as long as I use iTunes, I've found the music isn't as controllable via Spotify.
