Final Update: the car is now running and seems to be ok. Turns out Nissan extended the warranty of the turbo air intake pipe to 5 years as it's a known fault. The Nissan dealer has replaced the pipe (we put the old one back on) and also replaced the DPF as this accelerated the issue. All in all quit...

Thanks for the replies. Based on that thread it looks like its definitely a DPF issue.

I have just ordered some cleaner to spray on to the filter. Will see how I get on.

Update: I have just checked over the engine and the Air Intake pipe for the turbo has split, bought and fitted an original part from Nissan (£65) WhatsApp Image 2017-07-12 at 13.24.44.jpeg I still have an issue with the exhaust pressure sensor, I cant find the sensor anywhere to look at replacing it...
