Re: Electrical fault?
Forgot to update on here, but I simply took the linked fuse out (as per @Stan23SCO useful link) , gave it a clean and the window and seat started to work again. Been meaning to get a new fuse but looks like it's dealer part only. Good old Nissan electrics!

@duncho any chance you can put some links for the scanners please, Internet search brings up so many. Would like one to see DPF status, and even do a forced regen. Thanks

Re: Air Con
Just an update for you guys- I found a guy who quoted just over £300 to replace the condenser and re-gas- half the dealers quote. This was on a aftermarket condenser, £50 more for Nissan part. He has done so many recently that he's now having problems sourcing new condensers. Stupidly I didn't take ...

Re: Air Con
Sorry for the very late reply @DaveBerlin. Same has happened again, Aircon very weak so called the dealer to book for a re-gas. Was quoted £189, but when I mentioned I was charged £89 last time they amended the quote. However, when I dropped the car in I was told the wrong price has been quoted, and...

Re: Merc with i key theft caught on video
interesting read DaveBerlin. It's amazing how all this advanced technology can work against you. I might be wrong but a 'Ghost' immobiliser would/should eliminate starting the engine as you still need to input a code via the buttons on the multi-function steering wheel. Admittedly they can still get...

Re: Merc with i key theft caught on video
This seems to be a problem with high end cars, most probably stolen to order. A friend of mine slept with his car keys under his pillow years ago when houses were getting broken into for car keys. This way is now the more 'cleaner' way of getting access to your car. Has anybody had a ghost immobilis...

Re: Air Con
DaveBerlin, this was the initial issue I was having. I had booked a Groupon offer for £29 @ ATS, but engineer said car had a different sized nozzle and needed the new style gas. No on else could do it so dealer quoted £189. Even I was confused when the service agent said it needed the old style gas,...

Re: Air Con
On a bit of a side note, my J11 2014 needed re-gasing this summer, and after trying to shop around I had no option but to go back to the dealer, who had quoted £189!! When they had finished apparently even though it had the new size fitting, the gas needed was the 'old' type, so only cost £90. Somet...

Re: 1.5dci EGR location/clean
I'm not sure where it is but the easy way to clean it is to get a carbon clean done. Had mine done earlier this year and cost me £75. Very quick, and you really notice the difference. If your in the UK and in the Yorkshire area I can pass on the details of the guy I used. If the erg is accessible he...
