Goodbye to My QQ and New QQ items for sale

Well after three years of trouble free motoring with my QQ I have decided to trade in and plumped for a top of the range Mazda CX5. I will miss the car but feel the 1.2 engine and some possible long term doubts, it was time to look ahead and change. I have for sale a totally unused spare wheel for t...

Re: FREE SatNav POI - SPEEDCAM REDLIGHT warnings

I have checked both USB sticks and they are formatted as FAT. I copied the PocketGPS data base onto one and the NTQ file on the other using identical folders, the one with the speed camera's uploaded onto the Connect ok, but the other stick said unable to copy, contact Nissan for help. Many thanks

Re: FREE SatNav POI - SPEEDCAM REDLIGHT warnings

Thanks Daniel, Tried the folders as I have previously used via USB stick and as your earlier comments, but again it would not recognise the (noalerts.ntq) file which I downloaded via your link, in fact I cannot find anything which recognises a NTQ file, perhaps your system is different to mine. Jon

Re: FREE SatNav POI - SPEEDCAM REDLIGHT warnings

You can ignore that if you like. It is just to delete outdated warning file database (dated as of 09/2013) which comes with your car. Thanks Daniel I tried to delete the annoying original speed camera files using your clearance file, but the connect does not recognise it, is there a special way to ...

Re: Alloys marked

Sadly I was the original member who first brought up the AlloyGaytors back in early 2014 and what a disaster they proved to be. Creating white worm underneath them which quickly spread to the outer edge which them oxidised and the lacquer came off. I had my wheels sandblasted, primed and painted in ...

Re: Continental Tyres

Just ordered 2 Conti's for front wheels to be fitted next week. The car just reached 21k miles in 31 month driving. The dealer said the rears are ok for up to another 12k miles or so, I am happy with that and although the Nexus tyres look good value I am a believer in buying quality first. I got 42,...

Re: Continental Tyres

Not saying there is anything of concern over the Nexus tyres, but after 69 years of life, I have discovered that pretty often items that are cheaper is because they in some way do not meet meet the standards of more expensive items. Similar to what the cheaper Whirlpool tumble drier buyers are seein...

Re: 1.2 DIG-T - Oil loss

The info is in this thread, although I appreciate its rather long now and a fair bit of waffle. but I agree that the problem seems isolated to 'early' J11 (between 2014 and 2015ish) cars on all oil loss scenarios. However this fault is not isolated just to the QQ J11, but also affected the new Puls...

Re: Alarm

I have had a similar problem this last week, with the alarm going off three times. When looking around the car I saw a spider actually going in and out of the sensors. Out came the vacuum and from then on not a sound.
