Re: MPG and speed -1.2 DiG-T, 1.5dCi, 1.6dCi, 1.6DiG-T

I'm now getting just below the stated official figures and very happy with them. That is going by the readout and not being too precise like filling up and calculating exactly. There was better figures in the summer but obviously lower in cold weather. I use the ECO setting and the car is a 1.2 CVT ...

Re: Nissan QQ difference in models

I have a 67 plate 1.2 t CVT and it now has 6000 on the clock. I get over 40 mpg and in warmer weather was getting 49 around town and on dual carriageways doing about 65 mph. There must be a reason why you are getting only 24 - 29 mpg as that is far to low.

I have a CVT coming up for first service. What does this 'learned value and calibration'mean?

Re: Why do we need dashcams ?

I emailed Nissan Customer Services earlier this year about this very subject and mentioned it could be a selling point since Insurance Companies would reduce premiums with onboard recordings available. I have a front and a rear camera on my car and now I wouldn't be without them. Nissan didn't even ...

Re: Adding a front camera in factory head unit (7" display)

I emailed Nissan Customer Services earlier this year and suggested that they look into adding cameras front and rear to record as these are very popular now. I have Transcend cameras front and rear and wouldn't be without them now. It would probably reduce insurance as well but I didn't even get a r...

Re: Cheap Imitation Mudflaps?

I bought some cheap mudflaps and they seem OK. There are self tapping screws and washers supplied but I notice there are no screws to remove on the latest QQ to allow the attachment of the mudflaps. Do the mudflap screws just screw through the plastic of the car and not into metal bodywork?

Re: Nissan Quasqai gearbox failure

Good luck with this and hope you are successful. Please keep us up to date. I read about the situation in the USA and was appalled that we don't have the same extended warranty in the UK since there are the same problems here. It has taken away the pleasure of owning an otherwise nice car which I no...

Re: New person :)

Sat in a showroom QQ Tekna which had running boards fitted and found they caught my ankles and made it more difficult to get in and out, so even if they are considered by some to be 'cool' I would never have them either.
