Hands Free
The hands free, voice control works... But as said above, the button on wheel starts the phone listening for commands, for clear voice activation the phone needs to be near the person speaking, it does not use the car microphone, if there is one.

Had another update ( or three) two weeks ago. so far problems seem resolved, no hesitation, hunting, and no surging or swinging revs.

CVT in for update
Mine went in yesterday for new update. they asked me to keep a log of problems and send it to local dealers who will send to Nissan.No issues driving home, but mostly get the problems at 60-70 or on cruise.

I just remembered to look at my firmware version after the car had updates for the cvt problem. it's exactly the same as on delivery.Just so I don't make a fool of myself, I'm looking for the software and hardware version numbers, yes? Suspension very hard with 17 wheels?
This is my first Nissan, but the 19 " wheels and low profile tyres are giving a much more comfortable ride than my old Renault scenic with smaller wheels and larger tyres.

Just taken my cvt in for this problem. Took mechanic out to show him, replicated issue several times. He had seen it once before and update cured it.Had the system and gear box software update.Still got exactly the same problem.
