Re: DPF regeneration process

Morning all, I had a engine amber warning come up last week on my Qashqai, took it into Nissan who have replaced the O2 sensor under warranty. I now have an interest in the DPF system and how it can cost if not careful with driving habits but find reading this DPF regen process a wee bit too techie ...

Low level buzz/ringing from around battery area when hood open

Good day, I was having a check on fluid levels today and heard a buzzing/low level ringing tone from around the battery location area. I closed the hood then listened through the wheel gaps and could still hear this low level noise. I cannot determine the source. Could it be anything to do with the ...

Re: TPMS problem?

Glynv,

I note your response stating that the pressures increase as the tyres warm up..does the TPMS warning light then go off?
If not, my concern would be the effect of this on your MOT status...

Re: TPMS problem?

Glyn, Apologies if you are already aware but the true on-road readings on the TPMS screen normally will not show until you've run the car for a few miles, letting the tyres heat up. Do you do any long runs..? I had TPMS trouble on mine which were later found to be caused by the TPMS sensors being de...

Re: My first Nissan , Qashqai owner and already unhappy

Cockerman,

Correction:
I suggest you have the wheel & TYRE removed and checked for a loose TPMS sensor. Also confirm the type of valves fitted. You may find you have a case...

Re: My first Nissan , Qashqai owner and already unhappy

Cockerman, If you have a look at the Chassis/Wheels/Tyres - Tyre Rotation & TPMS section on the Tech forum, you will see that I had exactly the same problem. With Nissan stating that non-standard valves had been fitted to my QQ 2017 J11b 1.6 Dci Tekna, purchased as a year old used vehicle. I had...

Re: Tyre rotation and the TPMS

Good day Paplane, Gvmdaddy, On Wednesday I took my QQ to another local Nissan dealer to have the OSF wheel TPMS sensor/valve replaced, in the hope that the system would reactivate. No luck. The TPMS sensor/valve was replaced ( Pt No.: 40700-4CB0B) with their report stating the other three valves are...
