Warranty issue not resolved but now not covered

My 2016 Qashqai Tekna has had an ongoing problem, a rattle behind the dashboard, despite this problem being investigated by two Nissan main dealers on several different occasions and being without the car for weeks at a time the rattle remains. Now the car is out of warranty and despite this being a...

Extended Warranty

My 2016 plate Qashqai's manufacturers warranty runs out in June and I would like to renew it. I purchased it as a second user vehicle and despite asking the Nissan dealership they don't want to know. I telephoned Nissan CS and asked about extending my warranty but they say that the forth year warran...

Re: Front facing parking sensor pods.

Before I can get someone to help me remove the bumper (I'm disabled) has anyone had any experience of using adhesive on this type of plastic? Recommendations welcome.

Front facing parking sensor pods.

Someone bumped us in the supermarket car park and knocked the two front facing parking sensor pods. They seem to be held on at the front my screws which have pulled through the plastic of the front grille but to fix this the whole front end needs to be removed, has anyone had to do this?

Re: pre-existing conditions on extended warranty

Well if you don't have a break in the warranty it won't matter. Let Nissan have the bun fight & put your feet up. If the fault pre-existed it should have been fixed, even if the warranty period expires they still have to fix the fault, therefore there is no falt that pre-exists to the extended warr...

Re: What uo you most dislike about your Qashqai??

You can press the button to turn it off you know !! Hardly an excuse to get rid of a car. You seem to have missed the point, I am aware that it can be turned off, I do it every time I start the engine, my point is why can't I turn it off permanently? also why did you think I wanted to get ri...

What uo you most dislike about your Qashqai??

I'll start the ball rolling with a couple: I OWN THIS VEHICLE so why am I prevented from permanently turning OFF the stop-start feature? I think this puts undue stress on the starting system leading to premature failure of some components (battery, starter motor ETC) which far outweighs (in repair c...
