Re: Sad(ish) day yesterday as sold my QQ

Have picked up (or will have on Friday) a T6 Transporter Highline 2.0TDi DSG Kombi, will run it as an MPV type van for a couple of years while my lad is racing as it's easier / safer to carry expensive mountain bikes inside a van that on the back of a car, the plan in a couple of years time when he ...

Sad(ish) day yesterday as sold my QQ

Well I'm leaving the QQ fold, after 4 years one month and 85,000 miles of J11 Qashqai ownership. Re: New Technology

Reading the article the car does not take 3 days to make, it's the 3d printed stuff that takes three days of total printing time though I would imagine if this project does actually get off the ground they will have multiple 3d printers for concurrent manufacture. The underframe / chassis is still a...

Re: Can Dyson take on Tesla

@DaveBerlin, yes he is upping his game quite significantly, this isn't some half baked lets try build a car thing, it's a full on proper engineering effort! I for one am looking forwards to the Hullavington move as it'll make my commute to work easier :D

Re: Bike Carrying on Accenta Premium Rails or Towbar

Cheers for the link, looks just what I need, will look into getting a towbar and the costs. Quite like the idea of a detachable towbar as we will only use once in a while and not for towing anything heavy (if at all) Did you pay for your towbar, if so how much and would you say local garage or niss...

Re: Bike Carrying on Accenta Premium Rails or Towbar

I have a Thule XPress 2 https://www.thule.com/en-gb/gb/bike-rack/towbar-bike-racks/thule-xpress-_-970000 towball mounted bike rack as I'm carrying a bike several times a week, when not in use it lives very conveniently under the false floor in the bootspace. If I'm carrying the one bike I don't tend...
