I have NEVER EVER left a manual car parked without leaving it in gear. Even before the advent of electronic handbrakes. And especially now that most cars have all round disc brakes.
And I really do not get the mass reluctance of just about every other driver to do this.

This might sound a bit stupid, but my wife's 2015 N Tec def has wire elements in the windscreen (Thermaclear?) BUT no activation method that I can see...( No switch on control panel) Does this mean that it is not usable? Why would Nissan fit an expensive screen if I can't use it? Or is there another...

Oh yeah. Bit odd, having all the sensors and cameras already onboard, but I guess that's how the marketing goes! Thanks for looking all that up, Dave! V impressed!!

Hi, new to this forum but interested in this topic. Just bought a 2015 NTec + for my missus. Loads of tech, very good car. But doesn't look like it has BSW -definitely not selectable in 'driving aids'. Is this for Tekna only? Seems a bit odd, when it has all the cameras and sensors for everything else
